Sorting....and More Sorting!!!

Received a lot of books over the weekend.  It was great to get sooo many for the store, but it will take me awhile to get them sorted and inventoried.  Excited though....it's great to be able to get started soon and get the ball rolling.

Inaction leads no where!!

Please read on if you would like to know more and might possibly want to help me out a little bit or read on if you know others who might be interested.

I am in the process of trying to get my online store up and running but I am seeking your help. I am looking for free will donations of used books of all types (the more current the better on novels, hard bound or soft bound, gently loved children and young adult books, older books – once again gently loved, and poetry books). CD's (in their original case or in a hard case preferable), DVD's, and Audio books on CD's. No text books, encyclopedias and items of this sort please, they become dated too quickly.
I am also looking for neck ties.....that's right, I said it, Neck Ties....Even the ugly ones!!! **smile**

I would like to offer all who donate a 15% discount on their first purchase from my store but unsure how to do that as of yet. I will however write your name in my records and your contribution will not be forgotten.

The online used bookstore is still a work in progress and a webpage has not yet been set up. As soon as everything is ready and working I will notify everyone through facebook, email, fliers and/or word of mouth.

I will be in Alva soon for friends and family members who live there or near by. Just contact me to let me know you have items that I need to pick up. For those of you who live out of town/state and wish to contribute, I can get you my mailing address and you are welcome to send them using the post office media mail (it is cheaper then using the regular mailing services) but I understand if you don't want the expense of shipping me your things.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any donations you wish to make.
